PM Guitar Tube: 12AX7LM (Low Microphony Version) E83CC PreAmp Valve
The PM 12AX7 is the single most important pre-amp tube and is the tube at the heart of nearly every guitar amplifier ever built. PM12AX7LM – This high quality tube will replace all 12AX7A, 12AX7WA, ECC83, E83CC, ECC803S, 5751, 6157, 7025 and M8137, and is the better choice for critical position in your amp. It has been especially selected for its low noise levels and will give a very warm “classic” European sound. The PM12AX7LM is one of the finest pre-amp tubes in the PM Guitar Tube range designed and built with extra screening to eliminate microphony (squeal) and excessive white noise.
PM GUITAR TUBES offer a choice of 3 variants to customise your sound. Distortion characteristics can be changed by replacing a Classic sounding 12AX7A with the higher gain 12AX7HG or 12AX7LM with lower microphony either first or last in the pre-amp stage (NOT the 12AT7A or 12AU7A)
