The 12AX7 is the single most important pre-amp tube and is the tube at the heart of nearly every guitar amplifier ever built. PM12AX7HG – This high quality tube will replace all 12AX7A, 12AX7WA, ECC83, E83CC, ECC803S, 5751, 6157, 7025 and M8137, and is the choice if your amp needs extra punch. These tubes will deliver up to 20% increased gain.



PM GUITAR TUBES offer a choice of 3 variants to customise your sound. Distortion characteristics can be changed by replacing a Classic sounding 12AX7A with the higher gain 12AX7HG or 12AX7LM with lower microphony either first or last in the pre-amp stage (NOT the 12AT7A or 12AU7A)
