Description
EDGE Chrome plated Spade Connectors, provides a convenient way to connect your speaker cables to the binding posts of your amplifier / speaker. Suitable for when traditional banana plugs either do not fit, or protrude too far from the rear of an amplifier or speaker, or when creating jumper leads when bi-wiring speakers.
Spade connectors are attached to the end of speaker cables and provides a suitable connection to amps, speakers & wall plates (providing they all have binding posts). The binding posts securely clamps the spade into position making for a simple connection. CHROME plating is very resistant to tarnishing and so achieves / maintains excellent conductivity for great signal transfer. The barrel contains two grub screws (hex key fastening) designed to clamp your audio wire for a secure connection without the need for soldering. The jaw is stepped so that it can accommodate 6mm and 8mm diameter professional Binding Plugs for easy connection. And the barrel is approx 2cm long to provide a decent clearance from terminals to wall.
RED and BLACK heat-shrink tubing included to insulate banana plug terminations and to help identify channel polarity.
