This is a GENUINE PRO-JECT replacement Tonearm counter weight. The purpose of a counterweight is to apply the optimum downward force for your pick-up cartridge to read the most amount of detail within the record groove
Some cartridges may require a heavier weight than your current counterweight.
- TURNTABLE COMPATIBILITY – COUNTERWEIGHT (65g) This counterweight supports cartridge weights between 5.0g and 8.0g.
