Its toroidal (donut-shaped) core design minimises electromagnetic interference (EMI) and hum, resulting in cleaner power delivery and improved sound quality. It is favoured in high-fidelity audio systems for its low noise, high efficiency, and compact size. These toroidals are made with 2 layers of GOSS band sheilding for added noise elimination.
