The Golden Dragon 12AT7 is a very popular preamp tube, offering a rich crisp sound quality and low levels of microphony. It has a classic mid band sound with ultra low noise and distortion. (AKA ECC81) Made to strict UK specification.
GD E82CC / 12AU7The Golden Dragon 12AU7 is another popular preamp tube offering slightly more output than the 12AT7 whilst still retaining low levels of microphony and as a result is commonly used as the phase inverter in higher power amps to achieve a cleaner sound. (AKA ECC82) Made in China to strict UK specification..
GD E83CC / 12AX7The Golden Dragon 12AX7 is one of the cleanest and purest sounding 12AX7s available today. Its low noise characteristics and reputation for good quality make it the ideal choice for audiophiles. (AKA ECC83) Made in China to strict UK specification.
GD E83CCT / 12AX7 ‘Trustworthy‘New generation ECC83 tube, manufactured using traditional British ‘Trustworthy’ standards giving solid construction to eliminate unwanted microphony.
GD 6SL7GTThis tube is an octal-based high mu twin triode with separate indirectly heated cathodes. It was originally designed in the 1930s as an audio frequency voltage amplifier. It is a pre-cursor to the B9A ECC series. It was widely used for input amplification in older audio amplifiers. The Golden Dragon 6SL7GT is an excellent example manufactured to a very strict UK specification. Not be confused with the inferior examples of the same tube types which are available at a lower price elsewhere. GD 6SN7GTThis tube is an octal-based medium mu twin triode with separate indirectly heated cathodes. It was originally designed in the 1930s as an audio frequency voltage amplifier. It is a pre-cursor to the B9A ECC series. It was widely used for input amplification and driver stages in older audio amplifiers; some designers still prefer these tubes for the same application in todays designs. The Golden Dragon 6SN7GT is an excellent example manufactured to very strict UK specification. Golden Dragon tube rings by Duende Criatura considerably reduce distortion and self-oscillation from audiotubes. They have to be slid around the top part of the tube, where they reduce mechanical vibrations in the tube. The listener will notice improvement of three dimensional picture, a more controlled bass and cleaner soundstage.
