Amplifier Audio Output Transformer OEP V29A03F
This Audio / Output transformer is part of a specialist range of output transformers for use with PUSH-PULL Hi-Fi amplifiers.
Specially designed for use with Hi-Fi valve amplifiers. The V29A03F is based on the original winding of the output transformer found in PYE’S BLACK BOX Mk2 amplifier with ultra linear taps. With this output transformer the designer opted to use a single winding (as this is how PYE did it) and so replicate as close as possible to the original design. Ideally the windings would be identical – 2 wires wound simultaneously, known as bifilar, thus producing identical DC resistances, coupling / capacitance etc.
