JJ Tube (Valve) 6V6S – A.F. OUTPUT Pentode. The 6V6S is a beam pentode with octal base. A maximum plate power of 14W. In general, a very balanced tone. It has a fat low end and full mid tones with very good tone seperation, and a smooth clean high end. The JJ 6V6S is known to be a very powerful 6V6 due to its robust construction.
All vacuum tubes go through an extended burn-in period to ensure superior stability. A rigorous final test for tubes and capacitors verifies every important parameter. In particular, the parameters for flawless tube functioning include insulation characteristics, vacuum level, cathode emission efficiency, filament voltage, plate currents, and microphonics. The quality control process includes several thousand hours of reliability testing on samples of tubes and capacitors.
Carefully graded and matched. For optimum performance we strongly recommend that your amplifier is re-biased on installation
