This is a GENUINE PRO-JECT replacement Tonearm counter weight – suitable for Pro-Ject Tonearms. The purpose of a counterweight is to apply the optimum downward force for your pick-up cartridge to read the most amount of detail within the record groove
Some cartridges may require a heavier weight than your current counterweight.
