Moving Coil Step-Up Transformer MC1
1+1 : 20 (Z: 1-100Ω) PCB mounting.
High Performance Step-Up Transformer MC1 – Amplifies the low-level signal from a moving coil (MC) phono cartridge used in turntables. MC cartridges are prized for their superior sound quality but produce very low output voltages, typically in the range of 0.2 mV to 0.5 mV, which is much lower than the output of a moving magnet (MM) cartridge. The transformer boosts this signal to a level suitable for standard phono pre-amplifiers.
